These are the first few attempts whe producing the parti & poche drawings.

Structure

The buiding is more heavily structured from the back till the front, i.e. more solid at at the back & gradually opening up to the views of the mountain (more voids) at the front.

Geometry

Square & triangles are the dominant shapes that built up this house. Image mirroring & duplication of shapes is fairly evident.

Circulation

My first attempt was to draw an ant tunnel for the horizontal circulation, but then changes have been made to identify the parts of the building which i think the owner (Jorn Utzon) & his family might go, with different frequency.

The dotted path indicate the route to the exterior part of the building, which included the swimming pool, courtyards & the flight of stairs. Meanwhile, the shaded parts shows the circulation in Can Feliz, & the denser the shade, the more frequent that particular space is visited, i.e. the kitchen, bedrooms & bathrooms.
